Chief Operating Officer

HomeCare Maryland is looking for a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to join our team. At HomeCare Maryland we offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.


Essential Functions:

• Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes

• Collaborate with the Executive Director on the agency's strategic plan

• Assists Controller with financial projections, budgeting, and analyses of existing programs and policies

• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization

• Assess and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure the agency is on target with goals

• Introduce innovative programs and provide solutions that positively impact the industry of home health care

• Directs the development and implementation of long-term capital strategies

• Works with business development team to identify new LifeBridge Health Partners (LBHP) ventures and potential areas for revenue growth

• Maintains positive relationships with all customers, finance teams, physicians, medical directors, patients and consulting firms

• Communicate and collaborate with the leadership team on the vision to ensure the agency has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency

• Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass budgeted referrals, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives

• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company

• Adheres to all HCMD policies, State and Federal regulations



• Bachelor’s degree or higher from accredited college/university required

• 5-7 years chief operating and health service administration experience in home health care

• Working knowledge of data analysis and key performance metrics

• Skilled in organizational development, budget and resource development, and strategic planning
